About my practice

My theoretical orientation

In addition to addressing immediate presenting concerns, I support individuals and couples to work on a deeper level. This may include:

  • Recognizing, naming, and experiencing your emotions
  • Focusing on your inner experiences in a variety of settings and relationships, both past and present
  • Exploring patterns within interpersonal relationships
  • Exploring wishes, dreams, and fantasies
  • Identifying avoidance of thoughts and feelings which cause pain or distress
  • Facing the fear and anxiety that can influence us in unconscious ways
